Description:
Simple circuit that allows to keep a battery charged by inserting and disconnecting an external battery charger, based on the actual battery voltage. Two precision trimmers placed on board the circuit allow to regulate the ignition and disengagement voltage, below and above which the relay must be switched on and off. Usually a range of 12.4V and 14.8V is correct for a lead accumulator, of those commonly installed in motor vehicles and motor vehicles. The excitation of the relay will automatically connect a charger to restore the charge that will be automatically interrupted as soon as it is charged. We also have the possibility to connect a small voltometer as a charge monitor.
Potentiometer Adjustment:
- RP1: Adjust storage battery start charging voltage (low voltage setting: clockwise becomes higher, counter-clockwise becomes lower)
- RP2: Adjust storage battery disconnect charging voltage (low voltage setting: clockwise becomes higher, counter-clockwise becomes lower)
