The Waveshare Quectel RM530N-GL is a high-performance 5G Sub-6GHz IoT/eMBB module designed for industrial and commercial applications. Built on the 3GPP Release 16 specification, it supports both 5G non-standalone (NSA) and standalone (SA) modes, ensuring reliable global connectivity. Featuring an M.2 form factor, the RM530N-GL offers seamless compatibility with the Quectel RM520N series, allowing easy integration into devices that require either Sub-6 only or combined Sub-6 mmWave support.

Engineered for global deployment, the RM530N-GL covers nearly all mainstream carriers worldwide. It also integrates a multi-constellation high-precision GNSS receiver (GPS, GLONASS, BDS, and Galileo), delivering fast and accurate positioning while simplifying product design.

Equipped with a rich set of network protocols, industry-standard interfaces, and driver support (USB/PCIe drivers for Windows, Linux, and Android), this module ensures broad compatibility across platforms. Its versatility makes it ideal for a wide range of applications, including industrial routers, home gateways, set-top boxes, rugged laptops, PDAs, tablets, video surveillance systems, and digital signage solutions.
