Description:

The Waveshare Luckfox Pico Mini A RV1103 is a powerful and compact Linux micro development board tailored for advanced embedded and AI edge computing applications. Featuring a dual-core processor architecture with an ARM Cortex-A7 32-bit core and a built-in RISC-V MCU, it provides a high-performance, low-power platform for real-time tasks, smart AI inference, and multimedia processing.

Equipped with a Rockchip 4th Gen NPU offering up to 1.0 TOPS (int4), the board supports int4/int8/int16 hybrid quantization for efficient deep learning performance. It's 3rd Gen ISP (ISP3.2) supports up to 4MP image processing with advanced image enhancement algorithms such as HDR, WDR, and multi-level noise reduction—ideal for AI vision, surveillance, and smart camera applications.

The RV1103 also boasts intelligent video encoding that adapts to real-time scenes, reducing bandwidth usage by over 50% compared to standard CBR encoding, while maintaining HD quality. The RISC-V MCU enables ultra-fast startup and energy efficiency, supporting 250ms rapid image capture and instant AI model loading for near-instant face recognition.

Other features include 128MB Flash, 16-bit DDR2 DRAM, integrated POR, audio codec, MAC PHY, and a Mini B USB interface. Its versatile architecture makes it an excellent choice for IoT devices, edge AI, computer vision, and smart automation projects.
