Description:
This Waveshare Laser Sensor module employs diffuse reflection for obstacle detection and laser ranging. It integrates a 180KHz oscillating transmitter to excite the laser diode, and a matching receiver tuned to the same frequency.
The modulation processing ensures robust detection by significantly reducing interference from ambient visible light. An onboard boost circuit and signal output indicator enhance its usability in smart robots, obstacle-avoiding vehicles, and pipeline counting systems.
