The Waveshare Flame Sensor is designed to detect the presence of fire or flame sources within a specific range by sensing light in the infrared spectrum, typically between 760 nm and 1100 nm. Ideal for fire detection systems in robotics, automation, and safety projects.
This module uses a high-sensitivity infrared receiver paired with the LM393 voltage comparator to deliver reliable and responsive flame detection. Both analog and digital signal outputs are supported, allowing for flexible integration with microcontrollers like Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or STM32.
