Description:

This Waveshare Digital Tilt Sensor utilizes a mercury switch, a simple yet effective mechanism. Inside the switch, a small droplet of mercury freely moves within an enclosed space. When the device is tilted beyond a predefined angle (typically around 30 degrees), the mercury shifts position, connecting two internal contacts. This contact closure completes an electrical circuit, indicating a tilt event and generating a high signal output.
