Employing hardware logic gates, it effectively implements the transport and network layers of the W5500 TCP/IP Ethernet Converter protocol stack, encompassing protocols such as TCP, UDP, ICMP, IPv4, ARP, IGMP, and PPPoE, among others. W5500 TCP/IP Ethernet Converter  Integrated with a data link layer, physical layer, and 32K bytes of on-chip RAM for data transceiving buffer significantly reduces the workload of the host computer’s main control chip.
