Description:
This 4-switch digital touch sensor utilizes capacitive sensing technology, featuring the TTP 224 IC designed for touchpad control with a four-finger-sized touchpad. The board includes jumpers to adjust the keypress output mode to either Timed or Toggle, and Active High or Active Low. It also offers jumper settings to modify the response time for pressed keys, allowing for a 60ms fast mode or a 160ms low-power mode.
On the output side, the board has 6-pin headers, with 4 pins designated for connection to the digital I/O of any microcontroller board, such as Arduino or ARM STM32. Additionally, it features 4 SMD status LEDs to indicate the status of each pressed key. The TTP 224 4 Channel Digital Touch Sensor is compatible with all Arduino boards and is suitable for applications in human-machine interfaces (HMI) and as a replacement for mechanical buttons.
