Description:

The TTP223 1-Channel Capacitive Touch Sensor Module (Red Color) is a compact and reliable touch-sensing module designed around the TTP223 capacitive touch IC. It enables touch-based control by detecting the presence of a finger on its integrated sensing pad, making it an excellent replacement for traditional mechanical push buttons in electronic projects and smart devices.

This module features a single touch-sensitive area measuring 11 x 10.5mm with an approximate sensing range of up to 5mm, allowing responsive and accurate touch detection. An onboard LED indicator provides instant visual feedback whenever the sensor is activated, helping users easily monitor the module’s operation.

By default, the sensor output remains LOW in an idle condition and switches HIGH when touched. The module also includes configurable solder jumpers that allow users to modify the operating behavior, including active LOW output mode or toggle mode functionality for versatile application requirements.

  • Have the maximum on-time 100 sec by pad option(MOTB option (MOTBpin)
  • Have an external power-on reset pin (RSToption (MOTB pin)
  • After power-on it has about 0.5 sec stable time; during that time do not touch the keypad, and the function is disabled.
  • Auto calibration.
  • The recalibration period is about 4.0 sec when the key has not been touched.
