Description:

The TSD50 Short Distance Laser Module is a high-performance Time-of-Flight (TOF) sensor designed for precise distance measurement in compact and embedded applications. Featuring a narrow 1.7° field of view (FOV) and a high sampling frequency of 500Hz, it delivers fast, reliable data ideal for robotics, smart devices, and automation systems.

With an impressive accuracy of ±5cm for distances under 5 meters and 1% accuracy beyond, along with repeatability of ±10mm, the TSD50 ensures consistent performance across its wide measurement range of 0.05m to 50m (at 90% reflectivity). The module operates on 3.3–5VDC, consuming less than 0.4W on average, making it highly efficient for low-power environments. Equipped with UART and I²C communication interfaces,

it offers seamless integration with platforms like Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and STM32. The sensor uses a 905nm central wavelength and is classified as Class 1 for photobiological safety, ensuring eye-safe operation. With excellent ambient light immunity (up to 10m@100KLux), the TSD50 performs reliably even in bright environments. Compact and lightweight, this laser rangefinder is ideal for applications in drones, AGVs, smart home systems, and obstacle detection.
