Description:
The SparkFun RedBot Sensor – Line Follower adds line-tracking and object-detection capabilities to your RedBot robot. This sensor uses an infrared LED and measures the amount of reflected light to detect transitions from light to dark (lines) or nearby objects. Connects directly to the RedBot Mainboard via a 3-pin header (female-to-female jumpers required). The included RedBot library simplifies reading sensor data and implementing line-following or object-avoidance behaviors.
