Grove is a convenient plug-and-play system with a specialized interface, but it doesn’t mean that you cannot use it in an open ecosystem like a breadboard. With these specially designed conversion cables, you can easily integrate the comprehensive Grove system with a breadboard or other micro-controllers that don’t have a compatible Grove–Base Shield for now.
If you are tinkering around Raspberry Pi, Arduino, Cubieboard, or Beagle Bone and are fond of the advantages of Grove, you should use this conversion cable. Grove Cables are the most common cable in the Grove system. They are used for connecting a Base Shield to a Grove sensor, actuator, or device. Since Grove Shields supports connections to multiple devices at the same time, projects may require more than one Grove Cable.
