Description:
This tiny Raspberry Pi Zero Camera for the Pi Zero/Pi Zero W is ideal for camera projects where space is restricted. It comes with a 120° wide-angle lens, giving you a wide viewing area. The sensor is 5MP and is mounted on a flexible circuit board. Take care when handling it as it's mounted on a flexible circuit board. The Raspberry Pi Zero Camera board itself is tiny, at around 60mm x 11.5mm.
The neck width of the camera module is 6mm, this highlight making it perfect for endoscope, spy surveillance or other applications where size and image quality are important. Raspberry Pi Zero Camera connects to Raspberry Pi Zero by way of a short ribbon cable. The Raspberry Pi Zero Camera is connected to the BCM2835 processor on the Pi Zero via the CSI bus, a higher bandwidth link which carries pixel data from the camera back to the processor.
