Description:
The Raspberry Pi Touch Display 2 is a vibrant 7-inch touchscreen with a clear 720x1280 resolution. It's ideal for letting you directly interact with your projects! Think entertainment, home control, or dynamic information displays. Of course, it also makes for a super handy and space-saving monitor for everyday use with your Raspberry Pi.
With Raspberry Pi OS, you get full functionality right on the screen! Enjoy five-finger capacitive touch and an on-screen keyboard, giving you complete control without needing a separate keyboard or mouse.
To connect the display, you'll just use two simple links: power from your Raspberry Pi's GPIO port, and a ribbon cable that plugs into the DSI port (compatible with most Raspberry Pi models, excluding Zero and 400). Your Raspberry Pi handles all the power, meaning you don't need any extra power bricks for the display itself.
Important: Cases for the original Raspberry Pi 7" Touchscreen display will not fit the new Touch Display 2, as it has a slightly different size and glass position. You'll need a new case for this model.
