Features:
- Can measure from 0.05 m to 20 m on a 90% reflective target.
- On low-reflectivity targets (10% reflectivity), its range is about 10 m.
- Updates at 200 measurements per second, which is pretty fast — useful for real-time applications like obstacle detection in robots and drones.
- According to the manual, the frequency is adjustable: 200 / 100 / 50 / 20 / 10 / 1 Hz.
- ±5 cm accuracy for distances under 5 m.
- For distances ≥ 5 m, the stated error is about 1%.
- Average current consumption is relatively low (75 mA according to some sources), and power usage is < 0.4 W.
- According to the user manual, the resolution is 1 mm.
- It can handle strong ambient light: up to 8 meters under 100,000 lux.
