Description:
The PIR Motion Sensor Detector Module HC-SR501 is designed to detect motion, primarily the movement of a human body within its range. It’s commonly known as a “PIR,” “Pyroelectric,” “Passive Infrared,” or “IR Motion” sensor.
This module features an onboard pyroelectric sensor, conditioning circuitry, and a dome-shaped Fresnel lens. It includes a potentiometer for adjusting delay time and another for sensitivity. It is compatible with platforms such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi, AVR, PIC, and 8051, making it versatile for various applications.
