The SDS011 is a high-precision laser dust sensor that employs the principle of laser scattering to detect and quantify airborne particulate matter. By directing a laser beam through the sampled air, it accurately measures the concentration of particles ranging from 0.3 to 10 micrometers (µm) in diameter, which includes the critical PM2.5 fraction.
This sensor offers versatile output options, providing real-time data through a digital serial interface at 9600 baud for straightforward integration with microcontrollers and other systems. Additionally, it features two Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) channels, enabling flexible data acquisition and control.
