DESCRIPTION

The L7915CV is a three terminal negative voltage regulator with an output voltage of -15 V and an output current up to 1.5 A. It is available in flange mount TO-220-3 package and particularly suited for split power supplies and wide range of applications.

These devices are intended provide local on-card regulation, eliminating the distribution problems associated with single point regulation. When adequate heat sinking is provided these devices can deliver over 1.5 A output current and these devices can be used with external components to obtain adjustable voltage and currents.
