Description:
This is a decoder IC. It works well with its encoder IC pair HT12E. These two IC's together form an encoder and decoder pair. Its primary function is to decode the 12-bit data that is received by the input pin. Since the IC comes with an in-built Oscillator, it is very easy to make this IC work. This IC should be powered by 5V. If you use this IC, then it is very important that your decoder should have the same address as that of the encoder. This IC is highly useful in wireless communication projects involving RF or IR.
