Description:
The HOT DD30CRTA Lead Acid Battery Charger controller is designed specifically for 12V lead-acid batteries, requiring only a few external components for operation. HOT DD30CRTA Lead Acid Battery Charger supports various charging modes including trickle charge, constant current charge, over-charge protection, and float charge. In over-charge and float charge modes, the regulation voltage is pre-set internally for convenience. The constant charge current can be programmed using a single sense resistor.
For deeply discharged batteries, the HOT DD30CRTA Lead Acid Battery Charger automatically initiates a trickle charge at 17.5% of the programmed constant charge current until the cell voltage surpasses 75% of the regulation voltage during over-charge mode. Over-charge is ceased when the charging current drops to 38% of the constant charge current, transitioning the device into float charge mode. If the battery voltage falls below 83.95% of the over-charge voltage during float charge mode, a new charge cycle is automatically initiated. Additionally, the HOT DD30CRTA Lead Acid Battery Charger enters sleep mode when the input voltage drops below the battery voltage, conserving energy and optimizing efficiency.
