The DFRobot Threshold Formaldehyde (HCHO) Detection Sensor offers precise and rapid identification of unsafe formaldehyde concentrations in ambient air. Engineered for professional use, this module is factory-calibrated to a critical safety threshold of 0.075mg/m³ (equivalent to 0.06 ppm). Upon detection of formaldehyde levels exceeding this limit, the sensor provides immediate digital high/low-level outputs for seamless integration with control systems and alarms. A built-in LED serves as an intuitive, real-time visual indicator of air quality status. Designed for critical air quality monitoring in residential, educational, research, and industrial settings, its swift response time of less than 15 seconds ensures timely detection of potentially hazardous events.
The sensor’s broad input voltage compatibility (5–24V DC) facilitates flexible deployment across various power infrastructures. Its robust construction, featuring a compact and flame-retardant PVC enclosure, ensures durability and reliability in diverse application environments.
