Description:

The LattePanda UPS Hat is a purpose-built power continuity module designed to safeguard the operation of LattePanda 2 Alpha, 2 Delta, and 3 Delta single-board computers. In the event of a power outage, this UPS Hat swiftly and automatically switches to an internal power source provided by three user-installed 18650 lithium-ion batteries. Offering versatile power input capabilities, it supports both the efficient Type-C Power Delivery standard and the widely adopted 5.5mm DC jack.

Note:

Due to transportation safety restrictions, the UPS Hat does not include 18650 lithium batteries, and you need to purchase 3.7V 18650 lithium batteries separately.

Installation Steps:

Note: Do not install the lithium battery before the UPS Hat is in place

Step 1. Align the UPS power interface side with the LattePanda TypeC/RJ45/HDMI interface side

Step 2. Insert the UPS Hat into the LattePanda

Step 3. Check that the pins are fully inserted in order, without any floating or bent pins.

Step 4. After checking the installation, install the 18650 lithium battery, paying attention to the positive and negative directions.
