Description:
The Gravity: Digital PIR Motion Sensor is designed for precise motion detection by sensing infrared radiation emitted from humans and animals. Utilizing passive infrared (PIR) technology, it effectively identifies changes in heat signatures within its detection range of up to 7 meters and a wide 100-degree angle. Operating at a voltage range of 3.3 to 5V, this sensor is perfect for home automation, including occupancy detection, security systems to trigger alarms, and energy conservation solutions that optimize power usage based on presence. Its compact design and seamless integration with Arduino and Raspberry Pi make it a versatile choice for developers and DIY enthusiasts.
With a detection range of up to 7 meters and a wide 100-degree angle, this sensor effectively monitors larger spaces for precise motion detection. When the PIR sensor detects motion, it outputs a high-level signal (the OUT terminal is at a high level). This high-level signal persists for a specified duration (High duration) before returning to a low level (the OUT terminal is at a low level). In continuous trigger mode (effective continuous trigger), the sensor maintains a high-level output as long as motion is detected. This immediate responsiveness is ideal for applications such as occupancy detection, where real-time monitoring is crucial.
The Gravity: Digital PIR Motion Sensor employs a Gravity Interface, facilitating quick and straightforward connections to Arduino and Raspberry Pi. This plug-and-play capability simplifies the setup process, eliminating the need for complex wiring and configurations. Operating at a voltage range of 3.3 to 5V, this sensor is designed for energy efficiency, drawing only 15µA of current during operation. This low power consumption is especially beneficial for battery-powered applications, ensuring long-lasting performance without the need for frequent battery replacements.

Projects:
Introduction: This is a simple but fun application for Halloween. All you need is a mask, a stepper motor, a microcontroller, a motor driver, an MP3 module, e, and some wires as well as batteries.
Introduction: With all the lights and decorations that people use at Christmas, power is left on all the time, and electricity bills skyrocket. I made this motion-detecting Christmas tree light setup that only turns on when people are nearby.
Introduction: It’s pretty basic knowledge that there are many, many baby monitors out there. You have versions with audio, video, and even some that allow viewing through an application on a phone. However, Jaron had just bought a new house, and he wanted to find a cheap way to help his wife out so she wouldn’t have to try and randomly listen for their son to see if he was awake!
