Description:

The Bosch BMM150 is a highly integrated, ultra-low-power, and exceptionally low-noise 3-axis geomagnetic sensor designed for precision compass and spatial orientation applications. Leveraging Bosch's innovative FlipCore technology, this sensor delivers accurate magnetic field measurements along three orthogonal axes, eliminating the need for complex calibration procedures and providing reliable absolute spatial orientation.

Specifically, the BMM150 offers a wide measurement range, supporting ±1300µT (microtesla) on the X and Y axes and ±2047µT on the Z axis, enabling it to function effectively in diverse magnetic environments. Its compact and lightweight design makes it ideal for integration into space-constrained mobile devices and robotic systems. For seamless system integration, the sensor incorporates a user-friendly 2-bit DIP switch, allowing the selection of four distinct I2C addresses and simplifying communication and device management in multi-sensor setups.

The BMM150's optimized performance characteristics make it particularly well-suited for a broad spectrum of 3-axis mobile applications. These include, but are not limited to, advanced robot navigation and precise positioning, electronic compasses for portable devices, interactive electronic maps, sophisticated navigation systems, and immersive augmented reality experiences. Its robust design and accurate measurements ensure reliable performance in demanding mobile environments.
