Description:
This compact OLED display module, driven by the widely utilized SSD1306 controller, presents a crisp visual interface with its 128×32 array of self-illuminating white pixels. Engineered with a space-saving back chip-mounting pad design, this diminutive module measures a mere 33mm in length and 20mm in width, making it ideal for integration into space-constrained projects.
Its inherent advantages of small form factor, straightforward wiring, and minimal power consumption unlock a diverse range of display applications. Imagine it bringing information to life in wearable technology, adding a vibrant screen to mini handheld game consoles, or functioning as a clear and concise desktop widget.
Leveraging the inherent high contrast and low power draw of OLED technology, this display sips power, consuming approximately 25mA at 3.3V and 5V when fully illuminated, and a mere 2mA in its off state at either voltage. Its versatile compatibility extends to popular microcontroller platforms including Arduino UNO and Leonardo, the powerful ESP32/ESP8266, and the efficient FireBettle-M0 series.
Featuring internal power-on reset circuitry and employing the convenient I2C communication protocol, this OLED module simplifies your prototyping and final assembly, minimizing the complexity of wiring connections.
Note: Turn the pixels off when you are not using the display to prevent the use of some pixels for too long to darken them, which will cause the brightness uniformity problem.
