Description:

The DFRobot Fermion MEMS Ethanol (EtOH) Gas Detection Sensor is a highly efficient and compact solution for detecting ethanol vapor concentrations within a range of 1 to 500 parts per million (ppm). Leveraging advanced Micro-Electro-Mechanical System (MEMS) technology, this breakout sensor offers significant advantages, including its ultra-small footprint (13x13x2.5mm), energy-efficient operation (consuming less than 20mA), and minimal heat dissipation. These characteristics ensure rapid preheating and swift response/recovery times, crucial for real-time monitoring.

This sensor provides qualitative measurements of ethanol levels, making it ideal for applications such as Ethanol Gas Leakage Detection, Portable Ethanol Detectors, and Environmental Monitoring.

The Fermion MEMS series offers a versatile platform for gas detection, with a comprehensive range of sensors including those for Formaldehyde (HCHO), Carbon Monoxide (CO), Methane (CH4), Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), Ammonia (NH3), Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S), Smoke, Odor, Hydrogen (H2), and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2). This wide selection allows for customized sensor arrays to meet diverse gas detection needs.

NOTE: This sensor is capable of only qualitative measurements. For quantitative measurements, kindly consider purchasing the Gravity: Factory Calibrated Electrochemical Gas Sensor Series.
