You can control output Voltage by pressing the "on/off" button, the "in" and "out" on can switch the display of input Voltage and output Voltage. DC 12V 24V NC Step Down Power Supply is designed with integrated input mos reverse polarity protection circuit, so it will NOT be damaged if wiring is reversed.
