The Maker Reflect is an incredibly compact reflectance sensor, designed to bring precise environmental awareness to your robotic projects. At its core, this tiny sensor employs an infrared (IR) LED to emit a beam of IR light. A sophisticated phototransistor then diligently measures the intensity of the reflected light, providing an analogue voltage output. What's unique is its inverse relationship: the more IR light detected, the lower the output voltage.
