w1041 THERMOSTAT MODULE

The (XH-) W1401 is a "hackable" thermostat with I/O and UI elements (analog input, relay, display, keys, and buzzer) which can be re-programmed for simple automation tasks, e.g. monitoring, timing, or control. It's not much more expensive than a W1209, at a retail price starting from about $2.30. The relay is rated 250VAC, and, unlike other thermostats, the PCB design looks good enough to actually consider using it for switching mains voltage.

• The control relay stands on 12 V with NO contact, switches the current to 10 A (14 VDC) and 10 A (250 VAC).
• Sensor type - waterproof: NTC (10K - 3950 - 1%). The temperature sensor is a 10 kΩ resistor that is hermetically sealed in a protective metal cap. The length of the wire of the temperature sensor is 50 cm, but if necessary, it can be extended.
• Measured and monitored temperature range: -9 ° C ~ + 99 ° C.
• Measurement accuracy: ± 0.5 ° C.
• Control accuracy: 1 ° C.
• Minimum hysteresis: 1 ° C.

General instructions:

Digital two-threshold, two-mode, open-frame, power 12V temperature controller XH-W1401 is designed to maintain the necessary air temperature in incubators, greenhouses, terrariums, heating systems, for controlling the temperature of warm floors, swimming pools, freezers, systems for non-freezing of weirs, etc.

The thermostat is controlled by the microcontroller STM8S003F3P6, which analyzes the temperature measured by the digital sensor, compares it with the set value, takes into account the set operating mode, and based on this data, turns the load on and off. The switching is carried out by an electromagnetic relay.

Thermostat - contact (in the thermo regulatory a relay power element is used). The two-threshold thermostat - the upper and lower thresholds (the possibility of setting the upper value (threshold) of the on / off temperature (shutdown) and the lower value (threshold) of the on / off temperature).

CIRCUIT CONNECTION

  • Connect the battery to the DC point on the module
  • Connect the wire from the holder to output load point
  • Now connect the two pin to the 220v power supply port
