The Benewake TFA170-L Long Range High Precision Single Point LiDAR Sensor (0.1–170m) utilizes direct time-of-flight (dToF) technology. It emits a pulsed laser signal, which is reflected by the target and detected by a high-sensitivity SPAD sensor. The sensor calculates distance by measuring the time difference between transmitted and received signals, based on the speed of light.
