The stainless steel nozzle provides good durability for a wide range of standard filaments. It's a reliable choice for materials such as PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, and TPU. However, it's not recommended for highly abrasive filaments like those containing carbon fiber, glass fiber, metal particles, or wood fillers, as these can cause premature wear and potential clogging. For those materials, a hardened steel nozzle is advised.
