Descriptions:

The TSL2591 is a high-precision digital light sensor capable of detecting a wide range of light levels, from dim (188 µlux) to bright daylight (88,000 lux). It features both full-spectrum and infrared photodiodes, allowing for more accurate light measurements that better reflect what the human eye perceives.

With a huge dynamic range of 600,000,000:1 and selectable gain/timing options, it's perfect for a variety of lighting conditions. Unlike older sensors, the built-in ADC lets it work with any microcontroller—no analog pins needed.

It's ultra-low power (0.4mA active, <5uA standby), ideal for battery projects, and comes with STEMMA QT connectors for easy, solder-free plug-and-play use with I2C systems.
