Built around the TP4056 lithium battery charging IC, this module features smart charging technology using the CC/CV (Constant Current/Constant Voltage) method. The built-in LED indicators provide real-time charging status – red for charging and blue for fully charged.

The module also includes optional protection circuitry (depending on version) that guards against overcharge, over-discharge, and short circuits, making it ideal for embedded electronics, IoT, power banks, wearables, and other low-power applications.

📌 Note:

Ensure you're using a compatible single-cell 3.7V Li-ion/LiPo battery. Avoid using without protection if safety is a concern. For best results, use a 5V USB power supply rated at 1A or higher.

    How to Use:

    • Connect a micro USB cable for power, or a 5V DC to pads marked IN+ and IN- on the left-hand side of the module
    • Connect the cell to the charge to the B+/B- pads on the right-hand side of the module.
    • A load (something for the battery to power) can be connected to the OUT+/OUT- pads on the right-hand side
    • Important! Disconnect the load when charging
    • The red LED indicates charging in progress, green LED indicates charging has finished.
    • Never charge your battery at a rate greater than 1C.
