Description:
The Raspberry Pi DAC Pro is engineered to provide the best possible audio quality from your Raspberry Pi. Simply snap it onto any Raspberry Pi with a 40-pin GPIO header, and prepare to be amazed by the clarity and depth of your music.
It uses the same familiar inputs/outputs as the Raspberry Pi DAC+, but the DAC Pro features a Texas Instruments PCM5242 DAC for a superior signal-to-noise ratio. Get ready for even clearer, higher-fidelity sound!
Powered by the Texas Instruments PCM5242, the DAC Pro boasts an outstanding signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) for crystal-clear audio. It offers versatile balanced/differential output alongside standard RCA, and even includes a dedicated headphone amplifier for personal listening.
The DAC Pro includes two exposed three-pin headers (P7/P9) above the USB/Ethernet ports, ready for the optional XLR board (coming soon!) to enable professional differential/balanced output.
The DAC Pro is incredibly simple to set up: no external power needed! It connects directly to your Raspberry Pi's GPIO header, meaning no soldering or extra cables for a truly clean installation.
