
Description:
This is an Infrared Obstacle Avoidance IR Sensor Module designed for reliable object detection and obstacle sensing in robotics and automation projects. The module uses a pair of infrared transmitting and receiving LEDs to detect nearby objects by measuring reflected infrared light. When an obstacle comes within the sensing range, the reflected IR signal is received by the sensor, and the onboard comparator circuit processes the signal instantly for stable and accurate detection. A built-in green indicator LED lights up whenever an object is detected, providing clear visuals during operation.
The module comes with a simple 3-wire interface consisting of VCC, GND, and OUTPUT pins, making it easy to connect with Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, STM32, and other microcontroller platforms. It supports both 3.3V and 5V operating voltages, ensuring wide compatibility with modern development boards and embedded systems.
