Descriptions:
The CJMCU-TEMT6000 Ambient Light Sensor Module is designed to measure the intensity of visible light in a way that closely mimics the sensitivity of the human eye. At the heart of the module is the TEMT6000, a high-sensitivity silicon NPN phototransistor packaged in a miniature surface-mount 1206 case. Its peak sensitivity is around 570 nm, which aligns with the visible light spectrum and minimizes the influence of infrared (IR) light.
This module outputs an analog voltage signal proportional to the detected light intensity, making it easy to interface with microcontrollers like the Arduino. It can be used to measure ambient lighting conditions or to trigger actions when light crosses a set threshold — for example, turning on a display in low light or adjusting screen brightness.
