Description:
Introducing the upgraded Raspberry Pi PoE+ HAT! Now with a powerful 5V 4A output, it's built for demanding Pi projects. This new version seamlessly replaces the original PoE HAT and fully complies with IEEE 802.3af (802.3at Type 1) standards for reliable Power over Ethernet.
Designed for the Raspberry Pi 4 and Raspberry Pi 3B+ (with PoE pins), this PoE+ HAT is a great addition. Please note: It is not compatible with Raspberry Pi 5.
This HAT allows your Raspberry Pi to receive power right through your Ethernet connection, simplifying your setup significantly (you'll just need a PoE+ injector on your network, like the official Raspberry Pi one). As a bonus, it comes with an integrated fan that actively cools your Raspberry Pi's processor, keeping everything running smoothly and efficiently.
The integrated fan provides smart, quiet cooling. It's temperature-controlled, starting slowly at 40°C and increasing speed incrementally (every ~5°C) to keep your Raspberry Pi cool and operating silently.
Specifications:
- PoE Standard: IEEE 802.3at-2009 PoE
- Input voltage: 37-57 V DC, Class 4 device
- Output power: 5 V DC/4 A
- Transformer design: Planar
- Operating temperature: 0 °C to +50 °C
- Cooling: 25 mm × 25 mm brushless fan delivering 2.2 CFM for processor cooling

Features:
- Fully isolated switched-mode power supply.
Connecting Your PoE HAT To The Raspberry Pi:
- Before installing the PoE+ HAT, you must attach the supplied spacers in the four corners of the board
- Then connect the Raspberry Pi PoE+ HAT to the two 0.1" headers (40 + 4) that are fitted on your Raspberry Pi
- Once the PoE+ HAT board is connected, you can power your Raspberry Pi through its RJ45 network connector
Disconnecting Your PoE HAT:
- Take care when separating the HAT from your Raspberry Pi
- Pull evenly so that it detaches from all the pins at the same rate; do not pull one end of the connector off before the other
Instructions:
- Do not cover the fan
- It is forbidden to insert any elements between the blades while the fan is operating.
- The product must not be exposed to water or moisture.
- The overlay cannot be placed on a conductive surface
- POE HAT cannot be used in too hot a place. It is designed to work at room temperature
- When lifting, be careful not to damage it mechanically.
- Avoid electrostatic damage, do not touch the device while it is working
- Peripheral devices should comply with the relevant standards
