This M.2 HAT+ connects to the Raspberry Pi 5's PCIe 2.0 interface through a dedicated 16-pin FPC connector. It functions as a mechanical adapter, translating the Pi's signal to a compatible M.2 standard for your peripherals.
This HAT+ supports M.2 devices with an M key edge connector in both the 2230 and 2242 form factors. It's also capable of supplying up to 3A of power to your connected M.2 peripherals, ensuring stable operation.
This M.2 HAT+ follows the Raspberry Pi HAT+ specification and is autodetected by updated Raspberry Pi software/firmware for easy installation. It ships with a 16mm stacking header and spacers, allowing seamless integration with your Raspberry Pi 5, even with the Active Cooler installed.
